New Delhi, The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson is scheduled to pay a visit to India on April 21, this time to visit Gujarat. In the meantime, he will meet industrialist Gautam Adani, as well as meet top industrialists. He will also have a possible meeting with British Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 6.

Johnson’s visit comes after the successful completion of four of the four chapters of the India-UK Free Trade Agreement negotiations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Johnson will discuss the timeline for completing the process. It was initially planned to be completed this year. Johnson is expected to announce new science, health and technology projects as well as major investments in key industries in India.
This will be the first time that a British Prime Minister has visited Gujarat, the fifth largest state in India and home to almost half of the British-Indian population in the UK. At the same time, it is expected that he may make a big announcement during his visit to Gujarat
