With the explosive batting of Robin Uthappa and Shivam Dubey and the superb performance of the bowlers, CSK has managed to record its first victory in the 14th season of the IPL T-20 cricket tournament. The CSK team led by Ravindra Jadeja lost four matches in a row in IPL-202.
However, on Tuesday, CSK recorded its first victory by defeating RCB by 6 runs. After being invited to bat first, Chennai scored a massive 214 for four in 20 overs.
In which Uthappa and Shivam Dubey scored half a century off stormy batting. In response, the RCB team scored 19 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs. For CSK, Dubey was unbeaten on 3 and Uthappa on 3.
RCB had a massive target of 212 runs and the team was under pressure from the start and lost wickets regularly. The opening jade of skipper Faf Duplessis and Anuj Rawat did not start as expected. Duplessis was dismissed for eight and Rawat for 18.
While star batsman Virat Kohli was expected to make a big innings but he collected the pavilion with just one run. The team lost the top three wickets for 3 runs. Later in the middle order, Glenn Maxwell, Shahbaz Ahmed, Suyash Prabhudesai and Dinesh Karthik tried their best but their efforts proved futile against the massive target.
By then, however, Chennai had rocked the masses. Uthappa hit 4 off 20 balls with 4 fours and 9 sixes.
While Shivam Dubey was not out for 3 runs in 4 balls. He hit five fours and eight sixes. For Bangalore, Hasaranga was quick for two and Jaish Hazlewood was quick for one
