To maintain people’s privacy, people from one group will not be able to see the number or name of another group without the admin’s permission, but it will be easier to communicate with groups from one community at a time.
Shivnath Thukral, Director, WhatsApp India, said that the community feature will prove to be very useful in areas where there are many WhatsApp groups, whether it is a school or a housing society. This feature allows school principals to bring a group of parents from all classes into a community and share the necessary updates with them.
Create a separate group for a particular class and give them a message associated with that group. The admin will also have the right to remove people who do not follow the rules for privacy reasons. People can send messages to the community as well as create small discussion groups if they wish.
The admin will also get several rights such as an announcement message which will be received by all the group members at once. In addition, WhatsApp is bringing other new features. The admin will now also have the right to delete the message.
This feature also applies to the community. Also, if someone wants to leave the group, they will get the Silent Exit feature, which means that the message that a certain member has left will not appear. WhatsApp will also be able to respond to messages, meaning that if you want to express happiness over a message, its icon can only be attached to the message.
And there will be no separate message for him. This feature is already working in Telegram. It remains to be seen how effective this feature will be on WhatsApp. In addition, files up to 2 GB can now be shared on WhatsApp. WhatsApp voice calls will now feature up to 32 people.
