Mumbai lost their eighth consecutive match of the season

New Delhi, The condition of five-time champions Mumbai Indians in the IPL 202 season is very bad. MI has lost its eighth consecutive match this season. MI won the toss and elected to bowl first.

LSG captain KL Rahul scored his second consecutive century in the second match against Mumbai. LSG lost 4 wickets at the end of 20 overs and scored 17 runs. Chasing 16 runs, MI’s team got off to a bad start. At the end of 20 overs, the Mumbai team lost 4 wickets and could only make 16 runs. Thus, Lucknow had a great victory with 5 runs.

With this Mumbai’s team retains the bottom spot in the points table, With the fifth win, the Lucknow team has reached the fourth position. Thus, the Mumbai team is almost out of the playoffs. Chasing 19 runs, Mumbai had a bad start.

The most expensive player in the IPL Ishan Kishan He did not walk even today, he returned to the pavilion after scoring 3 runs. However, captain Rohit Sharma tried to handle the team by scoring 3 runs in 21 balls.

But later today, the bat of Baby Abby Dewald Brewis was also quiet. He was caught for 3 runs. Suryakumar Yadav also managed to score 3 runs. However, Tilak Verma scored 6 runs in the middle order to try to bring Mumbai back in the match. Kieron Pollard was also dismissed for 16.

While Jaydev Unadkat was able to make 1 run. And at the end of 20 overs, Mumbai team was able to score 12 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. From Lucknow, Krunal Pandya was 3 wickets faster. After losing the toss and choosing to bat first, Lucknow got off to a slow start, losing one wicket in the powerplay and scoring four runs.

Meanwhile, opening batsman Quinton de Kock fell victim to Bumrah by scoring 10 runs. Third-ranked Manish Pandey, along with captain KL Rahul, scored important runs for the team. After 3 overs, the team’s score crossed 40 runs.

Meanwhile, Captain Rahul completed his fifty in 3 balls rather than batting fast. But in the 19th over, Pollard dismissed Manish for 3 runs. As a result, the partnership between Rahul and Pandey ended in a 6-run partnership in 4 balls. Marcus Stoinis, number four, came on the field. Meanwhile, Captain Rahul was raining fours and sixes.

Stoinis off Sam’s ball in the 19th over and Krunal Pandya off Pollard in the 19th over before returning to the pavilion. Lucknow lost four wickets and scored 108 runs. Deepak Hooda was dismissed for 10 off Meredith in the 19th over, taking Lucknow’s fifth wicket for 181 runs.
