Delhi won the toss and invited Rajasthan to bat first in the popular T20 cricket tournament at Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium on Wednesday.

Rajasthan’s batting was disappointing but with the help of Ashwin and Devdutt Padikkal’s aggressive innings, the team scored 160 for six in the allotted 20 overs. In reply, Delhi won the match by 181 runs for the loss of two wickets in 19.1 overs. In which David Warner played an unbeaten innings of 3 runs. While Mitchell Marsh played a banging innings of 3 runs.

With this victory, Delhi has kept the playoff hopes alive. Delhi is in fifth place with 16 points while Rajasthan is in third place with 16 points. David Warner and Mitchell Marsh’s tumultuous batting made it easy for the Rajasthan Royals to set a target of 181 runs. However, his start was poor and Shrikar Bharat was dismissed on the second ball of the innings.

But later Warner and Marsh’s Australian Jade batted aggressively and gave the team an easy victory. The JD had a partnership of 18 runs. Marsh missed a century for 11 runs. He hit four runs off eight balls, including five fours and seven sixes.

Jace Butler, who has been a stalwart performer this season, was dismissed cheaply. Later, with the help of aggressive batting from Ravichandran Ashwin and Devdutt Padikkal, Rajasthan were bowled out for 160 for six in the allotted 20 overs.

The team had a poor start and lost its first wicket for 11 runs. Butler was dismissed for seven while his fellow opener Yashaswi Jaiswal was dismissed for 19. However, later Jade of Ashwin and Padikkal took the wicket and immediately batted in the estimate.
