Gujarat Technological University (GTU) is constantly working to spread technical knowledge and to spread the latest technology among the graduate and post graduate students engaged in technical studies.
But every year GTU organizes design boot camps in order to motivate students from Std. 6 to Std. 12 to participate in activities like design and innovation during school studies. The boot camp of the year 207 will be held from 20th May to 5th June.
In this regard, GTU Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naveen Sethe said that in the age of technocrats, students will participate in the Self-Reliant India Campaign through the development of technology through innovative experiments. More than 100 students will join this 5 day long boot camp. The main purpose of which is to solve the various problems of the society with the ideas and skills of today’s young technocrats by constructing designs of technology and innovation.
For the first 3 days of the boot camp, students will be given guidance on Problem Solving and Critical Thinking Thought Design Process. On the third day programming and automation will be taught. Game development on the fourth and fifth day, respectively.
Various innovative projects will be created by them by making them aware on topics like story telling in programming and 3-D printing. An online boot camp will also be organized in the coming months for students from all over India to avail this benefit.
