Ahmedabad: IPL-15 has come to an end. In the final match between Gujarat Titans-Rajasthan Royals, Gujarat has lifted the trophy by winning by seven wickets.
Champion Gujarat Titans were awarded Rs 20 crore and runners-up Rajasthan Royals Rs 12.5 crore in the awards ceremony held after the match. In addition, Royal Challengers Bangalore, who finished third in the playoffs, were awarded Rs 7 crore and Lucknow Super Giants Rs 6.50 crore.
Like last year, this year too, the IPL winning team has been given Rs 20 crore, while the runners-up team’s prize money has not been increased. The 15th season of the world’s largest cricket league has seen a number of exciting matches in which many new players have emerged and their lives have changed.
