Another incident of rape took place in Jharkhand, where villagers accused the accused of raping a 16-year-old girl and took the law into their own hands.
Villagers have come up against the incident of beating and burning alive two accused who raped a teenager. In Jharkhand, a 16-year-old girl went to a wedding with her parents, where the parents could not find a bus on the return journey.
Since they were all from the same village, the father trusted the villagers and sent his daughter away with the young men. The two accused, identified as Sunil Uravan and Aashi Uravan, had molested the teenager on the way and left her at home. The victim told her family about the incident.
On hearing this, the family members got angry and beat up the two youths and brought them back to their village.
In Ambatoli village, petrol was sprayed on the victim and he was set on fire.
The incident took place at night when the accused were set on fire by the villagers. This incident is under investigation.ss2kp
