Washington, Twilight could succumb to Elon Musk’s demands. The news came after the Tesla president threatened to pull out of the Twitter purchase deal. According to a report, the company is ready to accept Musk’s demand. In fact, Elon Musk’s lawyers wrote a letter to Twitter on Monday threatening to break the deal.
The letter said the company was violating the terms of the agreement by not providing information on fake accounts and Twitter spam. According to the report, the Twitter board has decided that it will provide Musk with access to the internal data related to the millions of tweets posted daily on the micro-blogging site.
Dan Eves, an analyst at Wesbush Securities, wrote in a tweet: “This hot button case will put an end to the major conflict between Musk and the board, which is why the deal has stalled.” Parag Agarwal, CEO of Twitter, said that less than 5% of the accounts active on Twitter on any given day are bots but the analysis cannot be duplicated externally due to the need to keep user data private.
At the end of April, Elon Musk agreed to a વાના 2 billion deal to buy Twitter. Since mid-May, however, he has been raising the issue of fake accounts. “If their issues are not resolved, they can cancel the contract,” he said.
