Geo-BP will accelerate the EV journey of the Nexus Mall
MUMBAI: Nexus Malls has announced its alliance with Geo-BP, a joint venture between RIL and BP in the fuel and mobility sector, to launch state-of-the-art electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and battery swapping stations in its portfolio of 17 malls in 13 cities. Geo-BP is developing an ecosystem that will benefit all stakeholders in the EV value chain, and last year the company built and launched two of India’s largest EV charging hubs.
As part of this partnership, 24 × 7 charging infrastructure for two- and four-wheeler EVs will be installed at Nexus Malls. In the first phase, charging stations will be available at Nexus Malls in Navi Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune and Ahmedabad from June 2022.
To accelerate the process of adopting electric vehicles, Nexus will encourage its customers to charge vehicles at their malls, as well as other environmental awareness initiatives.

The joint venture’s electric mobility business provides charging infrastructure to Indian customers and operates under the Geo-BP Pulse brand. With the Geo-BP Pulse mobile app, customers can easily find nearby charging stations and charge their EVs easily.
Using the best powers of RIL and BP in electrification, the joint venture is creating a charging ecosystem that will benefit all stakeholders in the electric vehicle sector value chain.
