Jadeja deletes all CSK-related posts from Instagram – the two may diverge
Not everything is going well between New Delhi, Ravindra Jadeja and Chennai Super Kings. Jadeja’s one step seems to be the same. Jadeja has deleted all posts related to Chennai Super Kings from his Instagram account in the last three years.
There has been a lot of speculation since then that the rift between Jadeja and IPL franchise CSK has widened and the two may part ways. Jadeja and CSK have already unfollowed each other and now the all-rounder has deleted all posts related to Chennai Super Kings.
In such a situation, even the fans now feel that the relationship between Jadeja and the CSK team management has soured. Jadeja, who wished Mahendra Singh Dhoni a happy birthday every year, did not even wish his old friend Mahi a birthday this time. Dhoni’s birthday was on July 7.
Jadeja joined the Chennai Super Kings in 2013 and has been with the team ever since. He has also won six IPL titles with CSK in the last 10 years. Just a few days before IPL 203, Jadeja, 6, was made the captain of the three-time champions Chennai Super Kings after Mahendra Singh Dhoni relinquished the captaincy.
But Jadeja could not handle the responsibility of the captaincy he suddenly got. Under the captaincy, defending champions Chennai Super Kings performed poorly. Under his captaincy, CSK won only 3 out of 6 matches.
Jadeja’s own performance also deteriorated due to capitalist pressure.
He scored only 114 runs in 10 matches at an average of 17 and took only 3 wickets. He then relinquished the captaincy midway through the season and Dhoni was made captain for the second time.
CSK recently congratulated Jadeja on his Instagram account for making him the vice-captain of the Indian team selected during the tour of the West Indies. But Jadeja has rekindled the controversy by deleting a CSK-related post from his Instagram account.
Jadeja has made a good comeback after a poor performance and injury in IPL 209. He recently scored a century in the rescheduled Test against England at Edgbaston. In this Test, Jadeja shared a 6-run stand with Rishabh Pant for the sixth wicket to bring India back into the match.
