Kiev, Amid the ongoing war in Russia and Ukraine, India continues to buy oil from Russia. Many countries including America are not happy with this step of India. Meanwhile, Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba has made a strong comment regarding the oil deal between Russia and India.
Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said that the oil barrel being delivered to India from Russia has the blood of Ukrainian people mixed in it.
The External Affairs Minister further reminded India that he helped repatriate Indian students from Ukraine during the war. In a virtual press conference, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro further said that we have always been a committed supplier and trader of agricultural producers, especially mustard oil. He further said that we expected strong support from India to Ukraine.
The Foreign Minister said that Ukraine has always been a reliable ally of India, but by buying oil from Russia, India is buying the blood of the people of Ukraine.
The Foreign Minister of Ukraine said that when India is buying crude oil from Russia at a discount, it should understand that the discount it is getting will be paid with the blood of the people of Ukraine.
The Foreign Minister said that both Ukraine and India have important similarities and both should stand up for each other. The foreign minister of Ukraine said that India’s decision to buy oil from Russia is not surprising but it is clear that through the war against Ukraine, Russia has got an opportunity to make money from its oil market.
On the oil deal between India and Russia, he said that so far in human history, in every dispute, in every war, one side has suffered losses while the other side has made money. So the foreign minister said that the strong relationship between India and Russia will have an impact on India’s Myanmar side in the future.SS1MS
