India’s missile specialist LTMMSL at Defexpo 2022
Leading the delivery of top-of-the-line Indian-made missiles to the Indian Armed Forces through participating in Defense Acquisition Procurement (Indian- IDDM), Buy (Indian), Buy and Build (Indian) and Build series.
L&T MBDA Missile Systems Ltd. aims to be an Indian private missile developer and manufacturer and missile system integrator. (LTMMSL) is a company. The company focused on two exciting issues during Defexpo 2022,
This includes showcasing in-service contemporary missile technology for the Indian Armed Forces and secondly, contributing to a self-reliant India with our Indian industrial outreach and partnerships.
LTMMLAV has an integration unit at Coimbatore for missile systems and missile launchers. Today LTMMSL is manufacturing MICA missile sections and missile launchers
And it is exporting from Coimbatore and some of it is supplied for Rafale and Mirage 2000 fighter aircraft of Indian Air Force. LTMMSL has made a major contribution to the MICA missile.
We plan to offer the MICA missile to the Indian Armed Forces. The MICA is the only missile in the world to incorporate two interoperable seekers (active radar and imaging infrared) covering dimensions from close-in dogfight to long beyond visual range (BVR).
It has earned a reputation as a silent killer due to its ability to fly into PVR in passive mode before Seeker locks on in the late endgame, as the target has little time to react or counter effectively.
LTMMSL offers C Scepter, the latest generation of Naval Air Defense System for the Indian Navy’s Vertically Launched Short Range Surface to Air Missile (VL-SRSAM).
The Sea Scepter is a highly sophisticated air-defense weapon system, which provides a high level of protection against air and missile attacks to the Indian Navy’s warfighters.
LTMMSL has offered the Exocet MM40 for the medium range anti-ship missile requirements of the Indian Navy.
The Exocet MM40 Block 3 Weapon System is the latest generation ship-borne version of the combat-proven Exocet missile family. It provides better operational performance and technology upgrades and has a mission planning software module,
which automatically calculates the engagement plan to support firing decisions. Also, the accuracy of the new navigation package further improves the instrument’s adaptability, allowing for maximum 3D approach trajectories and terminal attacks from different azimuths at extremely low C skimming altitudes with very short on-target times.
Terminal guidance relies on modern active seekers for target picking at sea and GPS accuracy for targets on land.
LTMMSL also offers Anti-Tank Guided Missile (ATGM) for Make in India projects. By combining the strengths of our parent companies L&T and MBDA, we can offer anti-tank missile technologies to the Indian Armed Forces, which makes our Make in India proposition for this new generation ATGM very exciting.
LTMMSL will present a comprehensive portfolio of high-performance missile technologies in service and on offer to the Indian Armed Forces during Defexpo 2022.
