Congress communication chief Jairam Ramesh said that most of the members of the passenger team have gone to their homes on the occasion of Diwali. So it has been decided to postpone the Yatra till Diwali.
He said that Rahul Gandhi has also gone to Delhi on Diwali and will attend the coronation program of newly elected party president Mallikarjun Kharge on October 26. He said that this journey has been postponed till October 26.
The spokesperson of the Congress said that on October 27, all the pedestrians will again go on the Bharat Jaedo Yatra. Rahul Gandhi will also visit India again on October 27.
