Aurangabad, More than 30 people were burnt after an LPG cylinder blast in Aurangabad, Bihar. Not only this, 7 members of the police team who reached on hearing the fire were also burnt. After the accident, there was chaos in the area. All the injured have been immediately admitted to Sadar Hospital where they are undergoing treatment. According to the received information, the injured are out of condition.
This incident is in Shahganj area of Aurangabad where women were making chhath prasad at the house of Anil Goswami when the house caught fire due to gas leakage from the cylinder. As soon as the fire was reported, the surrounding people also reached to extinguish the fire.
Meanwhile, on receiving the notification, the patrolling team of the city police station also reached there and the police personnel started efforts to douse the fire. But in the meantime, the cylinder burst due to which more than 30 people including 7 policemen got caught in the fire and got burnt.
Currently, the injured are being treated at Sadar Hospital. Thus, 10 of them have been referred for better treatment. According to doctors, all these have been given first aid and their condition is normal. On the other hand, the district administration has requested the people to be careful on such occasions and said that fire incidents can be avoided by taking precautions.
