Mumbai, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the former captain of the Indian cricket team and the best finisher in the cricket world, is not only lucky on the field of play, but also in earning money. This is because, Dhoni has shown a good increase in income tax return filing every year and he is leading in terms of earnings every year.
After retiring from international cricket, cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni is also climbing the ladder of success in the business world. Along with the area of business venture, his private income is continuously increasing. The file of the Income Tax Department proves it.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni has deposited Rs 17 crore as advance tax in the income tax department for the first quarter of the current financial year i.e. from April to October, 2022. During this period in the previous financial year, he had paid an advance tax of Rs 13 crore.
It is generally estimated that, by the end of this financial year, its income can increase by about thirty percent.
He had deposited Rs 38 crore tax in the income tax department for the year 2021-22. That is, its total income this year has been around 130 crores. Before this, i.e., in the year 2020-21, he paid around Rs 30 crore in tax.
Going further back, in the years 2019-20 and 2018-19, an amount of 28 crore rupees was paid as income tax. According to income tax figures, he paid tax of Rs 12.17 crore in 2017-18 and Rs 10.93 crore in 2016-17. According to Income Tax Department figures, since Dhoni started his international cricket career, he has consistently been the highest taxpayer in the individual category in Jharkhand.
After retiring as a player from all formats of international cricket on August 15, 2020, Dhoni is playing a brilliant innings on the business pitch as well. As a cricketer, he has not severed his connection with IPL.
The former Indian captain has also invested in several companies. He has also invested in sports wear, home interior company Homelane, used car buying and selling company Cars24, startup company Khatabuk, bike racing company, sports company Run Adam, cricket coaching and organic farming.
He does organic farming in about 43 acres of land in Ranchi. Currently he has also invested in a drone manufacturing company called Garuda Aerospace.
MS Dhoni Global School in Bangalore has also started this year. Apart from this, Dhoni and his wife Sakshi have also started a film production company called Dhoni Entertainment. The company has also announced its first film in Tamil, which will be directed by Ramesh Thamilmani.HS1MS
