In the G-20 summit which started in the very beautiful island of Bali in Indonesia, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi made it clear that the devastation caused by Corona and the Ukraine war, and said that the Russia-Ukraine war has to be stopped at any cost.
In his speech at the meeting, Prime Minister Modi said that India’s energy security is important in global development. Because the Indian economy is growing at the fastest pace in the entire world. Steps that encourage energy restrictions need to be avoided. India has promoted organic farming to ensure food security.
They said that the food shortage in the world from today will be a crisis in the coming years and the world will not have a solution for it. In these circumstances mutual understanding has to be done to make the foodgrain supply chain stable and secure. A ceasefire and a diplomatic solution must be found in the Ukraine-Russia war. In the last century, World War II created chaos in the world and then the leaders of the time made serious efforts to adopt the path of peace. Now it’s your turn for this and you have to put serious effort.
Participating in the food energy security sector, Prime Minister Modi said that due to Corona and the war in Ukraine, the supply chain of the world has been affected and therefore the world has been devastated. Organizations like UNO have failed to resolve these issues while the G20 countries have to jointly find a way to stop the war in Ukraine. In the meeting, Prime Minister Modi spoke freely on these issues and emphasized on making serious diplomatic efforts to stop the war at any cost.
In this meeting, the host Indonesian President Joko Widodo said that we have observed the world order and global laws. Today the eyes of the world are on today’s meeting and this meeting must be successful. Indonesia has made many efforts to resolve internal differences. But efforts can be successful and benefit the entire world only if all show full commitment to bridging differences.
Apart from Indian Prime Minister Modi, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval are also present in Bali. Russian President Putin has distanced himself from the meeting and has sent the Foreign Minister as a representative.
