(Agency) New Delhi, Narendra Modi government at the center has set a target of providing employment to 10 lakh people by the end of 2023. For this, steps have been taken like special portal, two month target, preparation of full calendar of review meeting every week at secretary level, collection of statistics of vacancies due to retirement.
Their only aim is to provide employment to 1 million people by the end of 2023. Top officers of the Prime Minister’s Office have been entrusted with the responsibility of monitoring. After the unemployment problem became an issue, the Modi government announced 10 lakh posts by the end of 2023 to fill the various vacancies coming under the Central government.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced to fill 10 lakh vacant posts in the central government after the issue of unemployment and employment came up. The target is to fill this post by the end of 2023. The first ‘Job Fair’ was organized in Jat Jata in October.
Prime Minister Modi also handed over appointment letters to 75 thousand youth. The Modi government has made a 5 point plan to achieve the target of providing employment to 10 lakh youth. Under the first initiative, there is a plan to launch a government portal called Vacancy States Portal.
Here the data of vacancies of all ministries and departments will be uploaded. In the second phase, a nodal officer will be appointed from each ministry and department, who will update the portal regularly. A target of two months has been fixed for all ministries and departments. Also, a full calendar has been prepared by the end of 2023.
Developed an integrated digital platform for offer and appointment letter. All the Ministries have been directed to publish updates about the appointment letters that will be announced in the coming months. In the financial year 2023-24, it is directed to give advance notification to all the Ministries and Departments about the vacancies due to retirement, so that these vacancies can be filled up.
