New Delhi, Preparations for IPL Indian Premier League 2023 have started. For this season, the auction will be organized on 23 December 2022 in Kochi. A total of 991 players have registered for the IPL 2023 auction.
It includes 714 Indian and 277 foreign players. If we look at the foreign players who will participate in the auction this time, the most Australian players will participate in it. A total of 57 Australian players will participate in the IPL 2023 auction. Then South Africa is in second place.
A media advisory has been released on Thursday ahead of the IPL auction. It mentions the players being included in the auction. IPL said that 714 Indian players will participate in the auction.
While there will be 277 players from abroad. It has 185 capped players. While 786 are uncapped players. So 20 players belong to associate team. If we talk about the Indian capped players, 19 players will be included in it. 91 uncapped Indian players who participated in the previous season of the Indian Premier League will be included in the auction.
If we look at the foreign teams, the most Australian players will participate in the auction. Australia will have 57 players. While 52 South African players are going to participate in the auction. In this way, 14 players from Afghanistan, 6 from Bangladesh, 31 from England, 8 from Ireland, 5 from Namibia, 7 from Netherlands, 77 from New Zealand, 2 from Scotland, 23 from Sri Lanka, 6 from UAE, 6 from Zimbabwe and 33 from West Indies will participate in the auction.HS1MS
