Two bombs exploded in Kabul one after the other

Kabul, Two massive explosions took place on Monday in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. The blasts took place in areas populated by Chinese citizens.
According to local people, there was a very loud noise in this incident. Apart from the bomb blast, gunshots were also heard here. The place where the incident took place is a very tight security area. According to the information, the attackers have targeted the hotel where Chinese citizens are staying.

The place where this bomb exploded is Kabul Longan Hotel. Here is a multistory complex. Chinese citizens coming to Afghanistan stay here. Afghanistan’s Tolo News has also confirmed the blast. Residents of Shahr-e-Nawa have acknowledged the explosion and massive firing here. As yet, there is no statement from the security officials regarding the incident.

It is worth mentioning here that after the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan, Chinese traders are coming here in large numbers. Even though Beijing does not officially recognize the Taliban, it maintains its embassy here. On the other hand, Afghan police and security agencies have reached the incident site and surrounded the hotel from all sides.

According to the information, the attackers went inside the hotel before firing. Then he exploded. The assailants wanted to take the people in the hotel hostage. It may be mentioned here that the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan said that today, Chinese Ambassador to Kabul Wang Yu met Deputy Foreign Minister Sher Mohammad Abbas Stankazai to discuss issues of mutual interest. The Chinese ambassador has expressed satisfaction over the security situation and order in Afghanistan.
