New Delhi, The ‘remote controlled’ ‘rat’ ‘animal cyborg’ will be inducted into the force in the Indian Army. During military operations, the army will use these rats to know the position of the enemy before the attack. The Defense Research and Development Organization’s Asymmetric Technology Lab is working on animal cyborgs.
According to the information, this project started a year ago. Now it is in its second phase. However, according to the information received, this project will take shape soon. The project was discussed at the 108th Indian Science Congress. DRDO Young Scientist Laboratory Asymmetric Technology Director P. Shiv Prasad also gave a presentation of this project.
In this technique, an electronic device is installed by manipulating a live animal. In this way work is done by increasing the required forces to a certain extent. It is called Animal Cyborg. Animal cyborgs have been used in Army research, relief and treatment. However, some activists have also raised concerns about the use of animal cyborgs.
They claim that this can cause the animal to suffer or lose its natural ability. The first phase of this project in India has been completed. In this step, electrodes are placed on the rats’ bodies to control their movements.
Now some light work will be taken from them. They can also be offered on mountains. Its purpose is that the animal does not suffer any kind of problem and also works. However, DRDO experts say that the surgery will cause some discomfort to the animals.
According to experts, this technique sends signals to the animal’s brain. With this they turn, then walk and stop. This technique is applied to the nervous system of animals, in which they have no problems.SS1MS
