Patna, JDU former president Sharad Yadav passed away on Thursday. His daughter Shubashini Yadav informed about this sad news. He breathed his last at the age of 75. He had been ill for a few days. Shubashi’s Yadav tweeted Karin, “Papa is not alive. He passed away on Thursday at Forces Hospital. He is survived by his wife and a daughter and a son.
Fortus Hospital has said in its statement that Sharad Yadav was brought to the emergency ward in a serious and unconscious condition. In the initial examination, he was not reacting, during the treatment, he breathed his last at 10:19 in the night.
Condolences have been expressed for the bereaved family at Fortis Hospital. Sharad Yadav, who made a distinct identity in Bihar politics, was born on 1 July 1947 in Badai village of Hoshangabad, Madhya Pradesh. He made a distinct identity from student politics to national politics.
Sharad Yadav has made his mark in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. After breaking away from the JDU, he formed a separate party Loktantri Janata Dal. After poor performance, he merged with Rashtriya Janata Dal in March 2022.
He contested the Laksabha election in 2019 on RJD ticket. His daughter Shubashi Yadav was the leader on the Congress ticket in the Bihar assembly elections in 2020. Leaders including PM Modi have expressed grief over Sharad Yadav’s demise.
He was counted as the socialist leaders of the country. Sharad Yadav had good relations with all the leaders of the country. Nitish Kumar and Lalu Yadav were close.HS1MS
