The BCCI official said in this report – Currently Rohit will lead India till the ODI World Cup. We have to plan what to do next. Who will be the next captain? Can’t wait about that. I can give any reaction on this then. If Rohit decides to leave the ODI format or captaincy after the 2023 World Cup, we need to make a plan. He further said – Hardik is doing well in captaincy. He is young and will continue to improve. At present there is no better option if it is followed by Robit. It should be supported.
