There will be six roads to the new Parliament House: one for the Prime Minister and one for the President
New Delhi, The work on the new Parliament building in the country’s capital, Delhi, is in its final stages. There is talk that this year’s budget will also be presented in this new premises. Finishing work is going on in the new Parliament building. There is talk that this work will be completed by the end of January. The construction of the new Parliament House was supposed to be completed by November 1, but due to some reasons it could not be completed.
Some pictures of the new premises have surfaced which show that the new chambers of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha have been lined up with seats for the parliaments. The new Parliament premises are being built right opposite the old Parliament building. Arrangements have been made so that more than 1000 MPs can sit in the new building. Since the government has not yet officially announced that the budget will be presented in the new parliament building itself. It may be mentioned that the contract for the construction of the new Parliament building has been awarded to Tata Projects.
The budget session of Parliament will start from January 31 and will continue till April 6. In which there will be a holiday from February 14 to March 1. As per tradition, President Draupadi Murmu will address the joint session of both Parliaments at the beginning of the session on January 31. After that the budget will be presented and for the first few days only the budget will be discussed.
