Mumbai: The board meeting of Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail was held today, in which Ms. Ananya Birla and Mr. Aryaman Vikram Birla were inducted as directors. Ms. Ananya Birla and Mr. Aryaman Vikram Birla have rich and vast experience in entrepreneurship and business building.

Ananya Birla and Mr. Aryaman Vikram Birla have recently been inducted as Directors on the Board of Aditya Birla Management Corporation Private Limited, the apex company providing strategic direction to the businesses of the Aditya Birla Group.
Sri Ananya Birla is a successful entrepreneur and a platinum selling artist. He founded his first company Swatantra Microfin Pvt Ltd at the age of 17, one of India’s fastest growing MFIs. The AUM of the company is more than 1 billion dollars
and has grown at a CAGR of 120 percent (2015 to 2022). With over 700 employees, the company is consistently ranked as a Great Place to Work. On the social front, Ms. Ananya Birla is the co-founder of Empower and an advocate for the need for dialogue about mental health in India. He is also the founder of the Ananya Birla Foundation, which conducts groundbreaking research in mental health and social impact.
Mr. Aryaman Vikram Birla has diverse experience, including entrepreneurship, VC investment and professional sports. Aryaman is closely associated with several businesses of the Aditya Birla Group. He has been active in entering the group’s advanced businesses in discussions with the group’s chairman, Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla.
Aryaman helped incubate the group’s D2C platform TMRW and is a director on its board. He started his entrepreneurial journey in the hospitality business. Aryaman also heads the group’s venture capital fund – Aditya Birla Ventures. Aryaman was an accomplished first-class cricketer before joining ABG.
