New York, 23 February was a very exciting and historic day for the United Nations General Assembly. Here again the facts of Pakistan were exposed from India’s side. India said that Pakistan is still a safe haven for terrorists.
Indian Counselor Pratik Mathur said that Pakistan’s delegation has mentioned it on several occasions and India has also replied to it under the right to reply. Pratik Mathur said that Pakistan is a country which has always provided security to terrorists.
Mathur’s comments came after a statement by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on the issue of terrorism. Jaishankar said that the fundamental differences between India and Pakistan cannot be ignored. He said, a country whose basic industry is terrorism can never be prosperous.
Prateek Mathur said that after two days of deliberations, the UN members who are present here have decided that the path to peace is possible only when discontent and disagreements are resolved. They regretted Pakistan’s outrageous provocation.
In the words of Pratik Mathur, I will say from this forum that it has been decided that India will not respond to Pakistan’s provocation this time.
Our only advice to the Pakistani delegation is that as we have used the right to reply before, they can also use this.
In the United Nations Security Council in 2021-22, India prioritized terrorists who have ties to Pakistan. Under 1267, India included Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Abdul Rehman Lamkki, Jaish-e-Mohammed’s Abdul Rauf, Lashkar’s Sajid Mir, Shahid Mahsoos and Talha Saeed in the list of terrorists in 2022. SS1MS
