Adani Wilmar Limited (AWL), one of India’s largest and fastest growing packaged food FMCG companies, has announced the introduction of the Kohinoor Hyderabad Biryani Kit as part of its expansion of ready-to-cook range.
Do-it-yourself (DIY) biryani kits under the Kohinoor brand help culinary experts prepare restaurant-like delicious biryani in 30 minutes. This all-new brand offering will be available in two variants – first in Hyderabad and then in Lucknow, priced at Rs. is 159.
On introducing its new biryani kit range Mr. Vineet Vishwambhar, Associate Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Adani Wilmar Limited said: “Biryani is the most loved dish in India. However when it comes to making at home, getting the right flavor can be challenging.
Kohinoor Biryani Kit helps to make tasty and quality Biryani instantly while helping to simplify the preparation process. We believe this will be a great addition to our existing portfolio and will further strengthen our presence in the ready-to-cook segment.”
The kit contains 200g of best quality basmati rice, 125g of biryani masala paste, 2g of whole aromatic spices and 12g of raita seasoning. Vegetables or meat can be added during preparation.
The product is currently available on Amazon, the company’s own D2C app Fortune Online and its retail stores Fortune Mart.
Widely popular as a favorite celebration food, most of the orders for ‘Biryani’ are through food delivery apps. The Kohinoor Biryani Kit will be available in modern format stores like Reliance, D-Mart etc., as well as e-commerce platforms like Swiggy, Big Basket, Flipkart, Blinkit and general trade stores, including self-service and high-end stores.
