A FOOD fan has caused quite the storm after sharing a snap of her easy dish containing chips and baked beans – would you eat it?
Abby Taylor Bannigan (@abbytaylorbannigan), from the UK, regularly posts short snippets of what she’s eating – but one such clip has sparked a fierce debate on TikTok.

Abby first started by adding some extra salt on her chips[/caption]

However, the baked beans proved to be too much for some viewers online[/caption]
The video, which has been viewed a whopping 2.2million times, sees the young woman plate up her easy dinner.
First, Abby started by chucking a box full of golden chips onto her dish, adding a generous sprinkle of salt and topping it off with some grated cheese.
The meal was then completed with a British classic – hot baked beans on top of the cheesy chips.
Of course, you can never have too much cheese – so Abby decided to top it off with even more of the addictive goodness.
Pleased with the meal she was about to tuck in, the foodie chuckled in the caption: ”my newest obsession.”
But whilst Abby could not get enough of the cheesy, baked bean chips, people on social media were totally divided by the unusual combination.
Some appeared to be impressed, others flocked to comments totally mortified, labelling it a ”soggy”, ”repulsive” mess.
Seeing the dinner, one bloke was horrified and wrote: ”I want to cry.”
Someone else reckoned Abby may simply experience odd cravings, suggesting: ”Go take a pregnancy test.”
A supportive TikTok fan hit back at the trolls and said: ”People saying it’s weird but will have a jacket potato with cheese and beans.”

”Do people actually not eat beans with chips? it’s better than sxx [sic],” another agreed.
Even the food giant Heinz UK jumped into the debate and shared their thoughts: ”This is so great we can’t.”
Fancy some chips after this? One food lover has shared a simple recipe for salt and pepper chips in her air fryer.
Stephanie, better known as Not So Farmers Wife on TikTok, uploaded the step-by-step video online – and it’s bound to become a favourite in your household.
For this, the mum demonstrated in the video, you will need chips, 1/2 red bell pepper 1/2 green bell pepper, onion and a mixture of spices.
To give the chips a bit of a kick, the foodie went for 1/2 tsp of garlic powder, 1 1/2 tsp of Chinese five spice, as well as 1/3 tsp of chilli flakes.
Once ready with the ingredients, simply chuck them inside your air fryer for 20 minutes at 200C.
Stephanie, who has close to 27k fans on the social media giant, also advised to give the chips a stir halfway through.
But despite the dish looking delicious, people on TikTok weren’t particularly impressed – many wondered where the salt and pepper had disappeared.
”Salt and pepper chips with no salt and pepper,” one viewer commented under the video.
Someone else wasn’t too sure if the spuds had been cooked properly, writing: ”Chips are still raw.”
”Pre heat the air fryer and let the chios [chips] cook for 4 minutes everything sticks to the chips better,” a fellow foodie suggested.
”they aren’t salt and pepper chips that’s a spice bag,” a fourth chuckled.
