A MAJOR menu change is on the way at Starbucks, with thousands of coffee lovers eager to try some brand new additions to its popular drinks range.
The coffee shop giant has announced that its new summer sprinkles beverages will be landing in stores soon, but there is a huge perk for customers registered to its loyalty scheme – Starbucks Rewards.
Starbucks Rewards customers have been given the chance to taste the new beverages ahead of all other customers.
All you have to do is ask in-store.
In a post on social media, Starbucks Ireland said: “Whipping up a summer full of sprinkles New Frappuccino® blended beverage range is landing soon.
“Starbucks Rewards customers, you can try them before anyone else, just ask in store!”
People can sign up for the rewards scheme by downloading the Starbucks App.
For every €1 spent, you get 3 Stars bringing you one step closer to a reward.
Meanwhile, coffee lovers will have all experienced the moment when the barista asks for your name to scrawl on the side of your cup.
But one person has shared how this left them red-faced and cringing after they got the completely wrong end of the stick.
A social media post by @theLKshow has been circulating where a man recalled the awkward blunder, which took place in a Starbucks coffee shop.
In the short video, they explained: “I still haven’t recovered from when I went to Starbucks for the first time.
“The barista asked, ‘Can I get a name for your drink?’
“I looked at her really confused and just replied, ‘I guess we can call him Bob?’”
Understandably, the barista was left majorly entertained by the hilarious mix-up.

They continued: “She laughed right in my face.”
And TikTok users had the exact same reaction, despite @theLKshow admitting that they found the whole thing “so embarrassing.”
One wrote: “This would have made my day to be honest. That is so funny.”
A second person was in agreement, as they typed: “No I hope she laughed in a nice way because this would have made my entire day.
“That’s so cute and funny.”
A third said: “I just burst out laughing on an airplane, love this.”
