Dream of jet-setting? Well, budget airline Wizz Air has released a subscription package for a year of unlimited flights.
For just one payment of £425, you can secure your All You Can Fly membership if you purchase it before August 16.
If you feel like you need to mull it over though, you can still bag yourself a membership after this date, you’ll just be paying an increased subscription fee of £511.
This comes after the airline suffered some bad press last year when it was named the worst short-haul airline by UK passengers.
The budget airline’s overall customer score of 48% put it at the bottom of the ranking by consumer group Which?.
With this enticing subscription package though, passengers can fly any of the international routes that Wizz Air offers, and you can book your tickets as late as three days before the flight is due to take off.
Once you’ve paid, the eligible flights for this package will be available from September 25, but you’ll have to pay a flat fee for every flight you book which is £8.57.
This lump sum also includes one personal item but does not include carry-on or hold luggage – this you’ll also have to fork out extra for.
If you thought that was the catch, you’d be wrong. It turns out there’s only 10,000 memberships up for grabs, so you’ll have to be quick!
Once you’ve booked your trip, you can’t modify it, so if you’ve had a change of plans then you’ll need to book a new flight.
You can’t cancel your membership either, unless it’s within two weeks of purchase and you haven’t booked a single flight.
It’s supposedly the first subscription package of its kind in Europe, and we have to say it almost sounds too good to be true.
Wizz Air flies to travel favourites like Crete, Barcelona, Budapest, Malaga and Athens, among countless other destinations.
The airline also offers other subscriptions for individual countries such as Cyprus, UK, United Arab Emirates, and Italy, under its Multi Pass schemes. These range from £30 to £55.
Silvia Mosquera, of Wizz Air, said: ‘We are thrilled to be the first to introduce this one-of-a-kind membership for travellers in Europe.
‘The membership will give customers hundreds of spontaneous travel options for a fixed price, giving them freedom to fly whenever is convenient without paying extra.’
So, whether you’re booking a one-way ticket or a round-trip, you may be able to save yourself quite a bit of cash.
