THE DRAGON KING (2.58 Hamilton, nap)
Clive Cox’s flyer didn’t quite stay six furlongs at Goodwood last time on the back of two excellent wins at this distance. The handicapper has left his mark alone and the yard is ending the season in decent form.
BLACKLION (7.00 Wolverhampton, nb)
He did really well to score here last time out after coming from a mile back. He showed good pace to make up lots of ground in the closing stages and wasn’t stopping at the line. This longer trip holds no fears and a 2lb rise is very fair.
PAPAGEI (3.33 Hamilton, treble)
He is looking for a hat-trick after wins at Haydock and Leicester. This trip is ideal and 4lb rise won’t put the brakes on.
OFFIAH’S BOY (8.30 Wolverhampton, Lucky 15).
He was a much-improved third on handicap debut here and is back from the same mark.
