Ahmedabad's advance towards becoming malaria-free district-A special action plan was formulated under the malaria eradication campaign in Ahmedabad district
Target to zero malaria cases by 3: As a result of vigilance and control after 3 cases in Year 1, only 3 cases were registered in the year 1.
A special action plan has been implemented by the Ahmedabad District Panchayat affiliated District Health Department and District Malaria Branch under the malaria eradication campaign.
Under this plan, the target of 3 (zero) cases of malaria in Ahmedabad district has been set by the joint efforts of various taluka health offices, primary health centers, urban primary health centers, sub -health centers.
Preparations have already been started to fulfill this target. During the next three years, the purpose of moving the district to malaria is also aimed.
In Ahmedabad district, during the year 1, there were 3 cases, 3 cases in 3, 3 cases in 3, 3 cases in 3, 3 cases in 3 and 3 malaria positive cases were registered. In Ahmedabad district, not a single has been killed due to malaria and dengue in the last 3 years.
It is pertinent to mention here that a special action has been made to take Ahmedabad district to malaria exemption under the guidance of Videh Khare, Chief District Health Officer Dr. Shailesh Parmar and the supervision of district malaria officer Narendra Singh Rathod. In the past years, malaria cases have been registered in the taluka, primary health center and urban primary health center area, including intensive surveillance to make malaria -positive cases by year 1.
The target has been set to keep malaria -free in all areas under the primary health center and urban primary health center of all the talukas of Ahmedabad district till year, which has been started by the health department teams, including intensive surveillance, to achieve the target.
