Ahmedabad, Swedish Premium Car Creator Volvo has its flagship 2025 Volvo XC90 facelift in the Indian market for Rs. Launched at an opening price of 1.03 crore (ex-showroom). This new model is a little more valuable than the older version and has been made up of many designs and technological upgrades.
This time the XC90 has been launched with a completely new design and good technology. In addition, it has a 2.0-liter new 'Miller engine', which makes it more powerful than ever. It has a new design grill with chrome element. Both sides are attractive LED headlights and are more modern Thor Hamped Shape's LED Drl. Its bumper has been updated.
The side profile consists of Traditional Pull-Type Door Handles, Body Colored Outside Reuver Mirrors (ORVM) and Silver Roof Rails. The car has new 21-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. In the back, the newly designed bumper has a chrome strip located in a horizontal layout with a newly designed LED telelight element.
The XC90 launched in India now comes with a light hybrid 'Miller Engine'. The B5 engine is equipped with an all-wheel drive system and transfers power via an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The SUV is powered by a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that produces 246.5 bhp of power and 360 NM torque. This lighter hybrid engine is attached to a 48-volt electric motor, which makes it more efficient.
SUV's ground clearance is 238 mm, but with air suspension it increases to 267 mm. Its length is 4,953 mm, width 1,931 mm and height 1,773 mm. It has a total width of 2,140 mm with side mirrors, and the wheelbase is given 2,984 mm.
The SUV will find features like 12.3-inch driver display, 11.2-inch freestanding touchscreen and 19-speaker Bowers and Wilkin Audio system. It can provide facilities such as 4-zone auto AC with AC vent for powered seats, panoramic sunroof, second and third row passenger with colored head-up displays, ventilation and massage functions.
Volvo has also improved SUV's ride quality. It has added frequency selective damping technology, better sound insulation and more storage options. It has luxury elements such as golden headlining, gray ash décor, charcoal finished steering wheel, crystal gear shift, nappa leather upholstery, exclusive textile floor mats and aluminated seal moldings.
Volvo has always been known for safety and this has been kept in mind in the XC90 too. For safety, features like multiple airbags, 360-degree cameras, hill disant control and electronic parking brakes can be provided in the car. In addition, the Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) can also be provided in the car, with LAN Keep Assist and Cruise Control available. The 2025 Volvo XC90 can be a parking sensor on the back, back and side with a park assisted function.
