Overtaking The Quarters Swiss Cottage in recent months, Author King’s Cross is now the top-rated development in Camden. A brand new, Build-To-Rent development in King’s Cross, this is one of London’s most connected locations. It offers a collection of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, furnished and unfurnished, with flexible tenancies to suit your lifestyle. In addition, there are a range of lifestyle amenities including a resident’s lounge, fitness centre, co-working spaces and a private dining room. Author offers exclusive resident events and is pet-friendly.
Still sitting pretty in 2nd place we have Bravo rental development: The Quarters Swiss Cottage. The development accommodates 102 self-contained spacious units for short-term stays. Guests can enjoy a range of services and amenities, including in house maintenance and housekeeping. Similarly, Finchley Road station is less than a minute’s walk away, meaning easy access to transport links. Likewise, there is a great selection of shops, restaurants, bars and outdoor space close by.
The Quarters Kilburn, another Bravo development, takes the number 3 slot in Camden. This rental development offers 82 self-contained studios. Additionally, Kilburn Park station is a five-minute journey away. As a result, residents have access to central London as Euston is only a seven-minute journey. Fenman House currently occupies 7th place, bouyed by a steady posting of positive reviews. 8th placed Hampstead Manor offers regal surroundings in a prime setting, just minutes from the centre of Hampstead Village. The development offers a selection of 156 homes set over 13 buildings. The units range from contemporary apartments to expertly converted Grade II listed heritage properties.
Next up we have a new entry to the list. Enclave is located in Kings Cross offering excellent transport links across London. The apartments have been designed to the highest specification and with bespoke amenities also on offer, Enclave KX sets a high standard for city living. It also features 24-hour onsite management, a cinema room, gym and working spaces.
Finishing off the list in 10th we have The Triton Building, a British Land residential development comprising 162 one, two and three-bedroom apartments. The development is centrally located and lies between Warren Street and Great Portland Street Underground Stations that offer Victoria and Northern line services over London.

However, according to the latest figures from Rightmove (March 2025), the average property price in Camden ranged from £571,000 in Euston to a whopping £1,300,000 in Hampstead. The average price paid for a Camden flat over the past 12 months was £829,000. Clearly, there’s no “cheap option” to be had in Camden!
