Police said Paul Pelosi was severely beaten by the assailant. A statement issued by Speaker Nancy Pelosi reported that he suffered a fractured skull and an injury to his right arm that required surgery. San Francisco Police Chief William Scott said, the motive of this attack is being investigated.
