A few days ago, sources also reported that protesters in Gilgit-Baltistan marched against the government with lanterns in their hands. Demonstrators raised slogans against the government in Hussaini Chowk of the city.
Many political and social activists participated in this protest on the call of Baltistan Awami Action Committee. According to the information, the people of this area are facing power cut for 22 hours due to severe cold. Apart from this people are facing shortage of wheat.
According to a report, subsidized flour has run out in Baltistan. Because, the federal government has reduced the supply in this area. Also the government is not paying attention to the problems of common citizens.
