This was followed by another shock of magnitude 6.5. The aftershocks wreaked havoc in 11 provinces including Malatya, Sanliurfa, Osmaniye and Diyarbakir. There was another shock of the earthquake at 4 pm. This shock caused the most havoc. Exactly one and a half hours later, at 5.30 pm, the fifth shock of the earthquake occurred.

Under this, different teams were formed and sent. Many of these teams have already returned after completion of rescue operations. Last Sunday the last team also returned from Turkey.
Under Operation Dost, 151 personnel of NDRF and 3 teams of Dog Squad reached earthquake affected Turkey. After the announcement of the end of the operation, the NDRF team was sent off by Turkish officials to a round of applause.
