New Delhi: The service of messaging app WhatsApp has been disrupted since 11 am on Tuesday. In which there is a problem in message sending. Also, the double tick was not coming after sending the message.
Because of this, users were turning off and on the application, and checked by turning off mobile data and WiFi, but still there was no double tick in the message, something seemed like a problem in the app. It’s not just your phone — WhatsApp is down for many users. The app said on Tuesday morning that it was working to restore service as quickly as possible.

A conversation with a cyber expert revealed that the issue was caused by a malfunctioning DNS server. This is not a cyber attack but a problem with Domain Name Service (DNS) going wrong. Which will be resolved within two to three hours. Regarding this, Meta Company said that the service will be restored soon, we are working on this problem.
The Downdetector website has registered more than 50,000 complaints of disruption to the WhatsApp service. Users complained of not being able to send or receive messages on the messaging app. According to WhatsApp, 5.5 billion unencrypted SMS are sent through the platform every day. Even the WhatsApp web service – the messaging service for desktop – is not working.
