bodhgaya, Bihar’s Gaya Police has traced the woman who threatened the Dalai Lama. Gaya police have detained the woman and are interrogating her. The age of the suspected Chinese female spy has been revealed to be around 50 years.
Bihar Police has arrested a Chinese spy from outside Kalachakra ground in Bodh Gaya. The Dalai Lama comes to this place to give lectures every day. According to the Bihar Police, the name of the suspected Chinese woman is Song Xiaolan. Police have called in a Chinese translator to help question the Chinese woman. The woman is being questioned at the Bodhgaya police station.
Sources say that the woman came to India in 2019. Then returned to China. Then she came to India for the second time and then went to Nepal. After staying in Nepal for a few days, she again reached Bodh Gaya. Gaya City Police SP Ashok Prasad is interrogating him.
It may be noted that earlier the Bihar Police had issued a sketch of a Chinese woman suspected of being a spy. Meanwhile, an alert is being declared in Bodh Gaya regarding the security of the Dalai Lama. It is being said that the Buddhist priest was threatened by this woman from China. Regarding this threat, the Dalai Lama said, “I have no ill will towards the one who incites anger in me.”
It may be noted that the Dalai Lama is on a visit to Bodh Gaya for about a month. Strict security arrangements have been made for their safety from Tibet temple to Mahabodhi temple.
The Dalai Lama arrived at Bodh Gaya on December 22, where a huge crowd gathered to see him off. He performed a special pooja for world peace here at Gribhagriha, followed by meditation under the Bodhi tree. Entry of other devotees was barred until they stayed in his temple.HS1MS
