Islamabad, Conversion of Hindus in Pakistan is not taking the name of stopping. Now at least 50 Hindus from 50 families living in Mirpur Khas of Sindh province have been converted to Islam. It is being claimed that the poor Hindus were lured with rupees and other necessary facilities.
Not only this, the son of a senior minister of the government of Pakistan was also present at this time. Pakistan’s Sindh province is already notorious for proselytizing. Yet the government of Pakistan is doing nothing to stop illegal conversions and protect the rights of minorities. That is the reason why the number of religious minorities in Pakistan is decreasing day by day after independence.
According to the report of The Express Tribunal, at least 50 members of families living in different areas of Mirpurkhas Division have converted to Islam. The conversion was organized in a local Madrasah Baitul Iman New Muslim Colony. Muhammad Shamroz Khan, son of Pakistan’s Minister of Religious Affairs, Senator Muhammad Talha Mahmood, was also present in it.
Kari Taimur Rajput, the organizer of this program and running the conversion racket in Sindh, has confirmed that 10 families have embraced Islam. Qari Taimur Rajput claimed that all these people had voluntarily converted to Islam. No one forced them. He also said that the minister’s son also allegedly questioned the new converts whether they had voluntarily decided to undergo the conversion ceremony or had been forced by someone.
Rajput said that 50 people converted, including 23 women and a one-year-old girl. Converts from Hinduism to Muslims in 2018 will stay in a local camp specially set up for newly converted Muslims.
They will stay in this camp for four months during which they will study Islam and learn religious rules. Rajput claims that thousands of people have been converted to Islam in the last five years and have learned religious rules in such camps.
Hindu activists have expressed grief and anger over this conversion. Fakir Shiv Kuchchi, a Hindu activist raising his voice against such conversion, said that it seems that the government itself is involved in this conversion. He said that members of the local community have been asking the government for many years to enact a law to stop this practice. He said, conversion is a serious issue in Sindh and instead of taking measures to prevent it, the minister’s son becomes part of the conversion.SS1MS
