A SAVVY supermarket shopper was delighted when she spotted the ultimate bargain on the shelves of her local Farmfoods store.
After catching a glimpse of the 19p buy, she decided to put the lot in her basket, and said she had zero regrets as anyone else would have done exactly the same – but not everyone agreed.
The woman shared how she’d been doing her weekly grocery shop when Farmfoods’ mega deal caught her eye.
Shaken Udder’s vanilla and chocolate milkshakes were on sale for 19p each when they usually retail for around £1.70 per bottle.
And the offer must have been hot off the press, as there were around 16 bottles up for grabs.
So she decided to take advantage of being in the right place at the right time and loaded up on the tasty treat and saved herself some cash.
Alongside a snap of the two different drink varieties in the fridge section, which she posted in the Facebook group Extreme Coupons and Bargains UK, she wrote: “Farmfoods 19p.
“Yes, I took the lot because someone else would have taken them all.”
And she added that it was even better when she discovered that they were all “dated until Dec too.”
And as soon as other members of the social media group caught wind of her haul, they had plenty to say.
One person commented: “These are really nice, I would have taken them all too.”
A second person was in agreement, as they typed: “I’d have done the same.
“They’d be gone by the end of the week with my family.”
While a third was eager to join in, as they wrote: “Such a nice milkshake.
And a fourth said: “Good for you!”
However, other savvy shoppers weren’t as impressed with the woman for taking them all for herself.
Many trolls took to the post and said it was unfair not to let others have a look in.
One blasted: “Hmm not sure anyone else would have taken them all.”
A second said: “Had them in the one I was in, couldn’t bring myself to buy the lot, had to leave some for other people who might be struggling.”
While another maintained: “I wouldn’t have taken them all.
“I’d have saved some for others.”
