FANCY a quick and easy dessert? This chocolate profiterole recipe might be just the ticket… or maybe not.
The three-ingredient recipe left foodies divided after it was shared on social media recenltly.
The foodie only used three ingredients to make the grub[/caption]
All you need is a bar of milk chocolate, a can of squirty cream and frozen Yorkshire puddings.
The food fan started by cooking the frozen yorkies in the over and letting them cool before continuing with the next steps.
They simply squirted plenty of cream into the middle of the roast dinner staple to form the middle of the profiterole-style dessert, and added another Yorkshire pudding on top to make a sort of ball.
For the final step, they melted a bar of milk chocolate in a bowl an dipped the Yorkshire puddings in to form a thick layer.
They added the chocolate layer over where the two Yorkshire puddings meet to help keep them together when the chocolate dries.
Although some foodies were impressed with the cheap and cheerful dessert hack, others thought it was bad enough to face jail time.
One said: “This is genius people that are complaining about this are clearly divs not knowing Yorkshire batter is pancake batter.”
“I know Yorkshire puddings and pancakes share the same recipe, but Jesus Christ this looks so cursed,” another slammed.
“What!! Noooo!! Profiteroles are made of choux pastry lol not bloody yorkies lol,” another agreed.
And someone else joked: “I’ve actually contacted the Police. you should go straight to jail.”
Not everyone hated the idea of repurposing Yorkshire pudding for dessert though.
“Some people are haters but yorkies and jam is traditional,” someone pointed out.
And another commented: “I eat mine with Nutella so I can’t say anything.”
Some said they like Yorkshire puddings with something sweet[/caption]
