THEY’RE one of the best bits about getting a Subway for many people.
So Aldi is sure to enjoy success with its new launch – a range of dupes of the sauces at the popular eatery.

There’s a marinara sauce and a teriyaki style glaze[/caption]
John took to his TikTok page to share a look at the products, which come in four different flavours.
Just like Subway, the sauces on offer are sweet onion, chipotle mayonnaise, marinara and teriyaki-style glaze.
The bottles are hilariously named Metro sauce, from Aldi’s Bramwells range, and even have a yellow and green logo – just like Subway.
“NEW Aldi Subway Dupe Sauces!” John captioned the video.
“Coming very soon to Aldi!
“All 4 x flavours are suitable for vegetarians too.”
The comments section was almost immediately filled by excited Subway fans desperate to get their hands on the dupes.
“Omg need these!” one wrote.
“These are Aldi Subway sauces. Let’s go!” another added.
“Was this today? I need!!!” a third asked.
To which John replied that they are “out Sunday 30th June”.
“No way! The Metro rolls are so good,” someone else commented.
“Does the Chipotle actually taste like the Subway one? Like I would actually sell my soul for that sauce,” another wrote.
While others revealed the sauce flavours they’re keen to see in Aldi next.
“We need ranch!” one wrote.
“They need to do a honey mustard,” another sighed.
When's the best time to shop at Aldi?
WHEN it comes to shopping at Aldi, the best time to do so depends on what you want to buy.
For reduced items – when shops open
Red sticker items are rare at Aldi’s 830 UK stores, but the supermarket says that none of its food goes to waste so there are some to be found – if you’re quick.
A spokesman for the supermarket said: “All items are reduced to 50 per cent of the recommend sales price before stores open on their best before or use by dates.”
That means you have the best chance of finding reduced food items if you go into stores as soon as it opens.
Opening times vary by shop but a majority open from 7am or 8am. You can find your nearest store’s times by using the supermarket’s online shop finder tool.
For Specialbuys – Thursdays and Sundays
Specialbuys are Aldi’s weekly collection of items that it doesn’t normally sell, which can range from pizza ovens to power tools.
New stock comes into stores every Thursday and Sunday, so naturally, these are the best days to visit for the best one-off special deals.
For an even better chance of bagging the best items, head there for your local store’s opening time.
You don’t have to head into stores to bag a Specialbuy, though.
They also go on sale online, usually at midnight on Thursday and Sunday, and you can pre-order them up to a week in advance.
As long as you spend at least £25, you’ll get the items delivered for free.
Remember: once they’re gone, they’re gone, so if there’s something you really want, visit as early as possible
“I need these in my life,” a third commented.
“There best be some when we go,” someone else said.
“We need McDonalds’ BBQ and sweet & sour!!!” another pleaded.
The price of the sauces has yet to be revealed.
Aldi is famous for its dupes, with many of them in the make-up and skincare section.
The store has released versions of high-end brands such as Charlotte Tilbury, Fenty, Ouai and Liz Earle.
The majority of Aldi’s SpecialBuys arrive in store on a Sunday or a Thursday – but customers have to be quick to get their hands on them.
Most recently, a Bluey armchair for kids almost caused a riot in Aldi, with parents desperate to nab one for their children.
In the end, the chairs ended up on selling sites such as Vinted and eBay with an extraordinary price mark-up.
