Trans madness
DO those who have convinced confused teenagers to change gender, sometimes tearing apart their loving families in the process, never worry about the appalling harm they have done?
Today we reveal harrowing accounts of social workers and others bullying mums and dads to the brink of suicide over their own child.

These kids have been encouraged online or by classmates to believe they were born in the wrong body.
Being trans became fashionable on social media.
Professionals, possessed of the liberal-Left’s arrogant moral certitude, couldn’t wait to steer them towards life-changing decisions about their bodies, brainwashing them about their “true” identity while shoving their worried parents out of the way.
One social worker interviewed a couple’s autistic daughter, announced “This is a boy”, then threatened them with intervention unless they called her “he”.
Anyone dissenting from all this is instantly branded a “transphobe”.
But Dr Hilary Cass’s major review this year famously reversed the tide, injecting desperately-needed sanity into the issue and prompting the Tory Government to ban puberty-blocking drugs.
Labour has backed Cass too despite the rage of the woke mob.
We hope the Government remains resolutely opposed to this sinister madness.
Prisons peril
DOES Labour really prefer to free convicts early next week than send some to Estonia?
We accept that prison overcrowding is dire.
The jail population has hit a record high with so many rioters banged up.
But Labour’s desperate measures to ease it are “rolling the dice” with public safety, the Chief Inspector of Probation says.
Surely better, then, to fill the empty cells Estonia is offering to rent us.
The Government, though, seems content to take the gamble and claim the whole mess is all the Tories’ fault.
Is that why Estonia’s simple solution seems a non-starter? Because blaming the opposition is the priority?
Wokeing class
WE are not surprised Sunderland City Council is running a mile from the absurd “inclusive” language guide its woke leaders were planning to put out.
Among many horrors, the term “working class” is not exclusively British.
Even if it was, Sunderland is in Britain.
Nor is it offensive.
Most working class people are proud to be so.
And, no, they cannot be renamed “people with fewer financial resources” — since many earn more than so-called middle-class folk.
Why not have this guide written by someone familiar with a few ordinary people? Better still, bin it.
