Big blow to Brijbhushan Singh from Delhi High Court – High Court asked Brijbhushan why he came so late to the court against the charges leveled against him.
New Delhi, Brij Bhushan Singh, the accused in the case of alleged sexual harassment of women wrestlers, received a major blow from the Delhi High Court on Thursday. Brij Bhushan Singh filed a petition seeking quashing of the chargesheet, chargesheet and order framing of charges by the lower court against him. However, currently they have not got any relief from the Delhi High Court.
The Delhi High Court asked Brijbhushan, why did he come to the court so late against the charges against him? And asked his lawyer to present a short note before the court in this case. During the hearing on the application, the Delhi Police questioned the maintainability of Brij Bhushan's application. Now the next hearing of this case will be on September 26.
Brijbhushan's lawyer said that there are six complainants in this case, there is a hidden agenda behind filing the complaint. All the events happened at different places at different times. This is just a conspiracy. However, the arguments of the lawyer did not work in the court and the trial against him will continue. In the end the wrestlers also returned their medals. The protest ended after a case was registered against Brij Bhushan. The hearing is still going on in this matter. Brijbhushan's tenure ended last year. In such a situation, he has withdrawn from the wrestling association.
