Two wheelers worth Rs 900 crore and cars worth Rs 2100 crore have been sold: Sales of luxury cars have increased against basic cars.
Ahmedabad, since the beginning of Navratri, the car and two-wheeler market has boomed. Navratri has benefited the automobile sector. A total of 3 thousand crore vehicles have been sold across Gujarat during Navratri. In which two wheelers worth 900 crores and cars worth 2100 crores have been sold.
Giving information about the bookings made in Gujarat during Navratri, Gujarat Chairperson of Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA) Pranav Shah said that 85 to 90 thousand two wheelers were sold during Navratri (including Dussehra delivery) in Gujarat.
In which 12 to 13 thousand two wheelers have been sold in Ahmedabad alone. While 20 to 21 thousand cars have been sold in Gujarat. 4500-5000 cars have been sold in Ahmedabad alone. Which includes basic cars to high-end cars.
Thus, two wheelers worth 900 crores and cars worth 2100 crores have been sold during 10 days. Which is a very good booking compared to last year. According to statistics, there is an increase of 8 to 10 percent in the sales of two wheelers compared to last year. An increase of 6 to 8 percent is being seen in the sale of cars. In the last two or three years, the craze of buying expensive bikes has been seen among the youth. Following which a car Young people are seen moving around the city with more expensive bikes.
As industry is booming in Gujarat, there is a great need for heavy vehicles to transport goods. After Corona, the sale of cars has increased across the country including Gujarat. On the one hand, people are buying second hand cars to buy cars on a budget. So this market is witnessing a huge boom.
On the other hand, now people who are buying new cars are buying luxury cars instead of basic cars. Due to which the sale of luxurious cars is increasing across Gujarat including Ahmedabad.
