Indian Olympic Association's bid to host the 2036 Olympic Games in India
New Delhi, Olympics were organized in Paris this year. Athletes from many countries participated in it. The next Games will be held in Los Angeles in 2008. While 2032 will be hosted in Brisbane, Australia. Which city is going to host the Olympics in 2036? Its decision is yet to be taken.
But in between, the Indian Olympic Association i.e. IO has sent a letter to the IOC regarding the hosting of the 2026 Olympic Games. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also expressed his desire to organize 2036 Olympics in India several times in his speech. The PM has already said that hosting the Olympics in 2036 is a dream for which we are actively working.
Let us tell you that this time Olympics were organized in Paris. In which the Indian athlete won a total of 6 medals with 1 silver medal. Preparations for the 2036 Olympics have already started in Ahmedabad.
Let us tell you that the city of Ahmedabad is considered a strong contender for the 2036 Olympics. India has not hosted the Olympics till now. India has hosted only Asian Games and Commonwealth Games.
