Ahmedabad, Gujarat Titans 6th to 27th October, BGMI is thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of its first ever Titans Rising 2024 tournament. The tournament showcased unprecedented talent and passion among the Indian BGMI community culminating in a heart-warming Grand Finale on October 27. MOGO Esports became the first Titans Rising Champions. Gujarat Titans' Inaugural “Titans Rising” BGMI Tournament Crowns Champion, Sets Stage for Future Esports Initiatives.
In a unique move bridging the gap between traditional sports and eSports, selected players from the 2024 Titans Rising tournament will interact and play with Gujarat Titans cricketers in a special mixed-team event during the 2025 season. Prominent eSports athletes and Tanmay “Sc0utOP” Singh, Deepak “Sensei” Negi and other gaming content creators will be seen collaborating with Gujarat Titans for some exciting content projects in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League. This initiative will not only provide a unique and rewarding experience for the winning team but will also create exciting crossover content for fans of both cricket and eSports.
Titans Rising was formed to provide a platform for promising BGMI players across India to compete at the highest level. The tournament structure had a tiered qualification system starting with qualifiers that were accessible to all. 2 for open qualifiers,With 048 teams registering, the unprecedented response and reach of the tournament was evident.
The teams competed fiercely with the winners pre-quarters, advanced to the quarter-finals and semi-finals. The Pre-Quarter Finals saw qualified teams with 32 invited professional teams raising the stakes and intensity of the competition.
The entire tournament was telecast live on the official Gujarat Titans YouTube channel and fans across the country watched the action live. The broadcast garnered 3.2 million views and 2,87,received a significant viewership of 000 watched hours. GT's YouTube and social media platforms recorded 50 million impressions and 2.1 million engagements during the tournament. These statistics show the remarkable reach and engagement of the tournament which reinforces the significant presence of Gujarat Titans in the eSports community.
To felicitate the best performing team and players for their skills and commitment in the competition Rs. 22,00,000 was held as a huge prize money. Besides team prize, 'Most Valuable Titan', Individual awards like 'Man of the Maps' and 'Best IGL' honored unique individual contributions and fueled the competitive spirit.
Apart from these notable honours, the Titans Rising tournament honored a group of young and emerging e-athletes with awards such as 'Rising Titans' and 'Rising Titans Squad' aimed at empowering aspiring eSports players.
