A mass marriage was organized by the 4th Leuva Patidar Yuva Sangathan Mandal and the 4th Leuva Patidar Women's Association at the newly renovated Shree Khodaldham Temple premises at Sunder near Patan, Patan.
In which 61 newlyweds from 53 villages of Patan, Mehsana and Banaskantha of the 4th Leuva Patidar Society, according to the customs of the society, with the chanting of more than 70 Brahmins, the newlyweds took steps in the procession.
All the 61 newlyweds who participated in this mass wedding were given gifts of over Rs.1 lakh by the donor family and Shrestha of Sogad Samaj. In the first mass marriage festival organized at Sunder Mukam, more than 20,000 people from 9000 families of 4 Leuva Patidar community living in 53 villages of Patan, Mehsana and Banaskantha were present in this mass marriage.
Cabinet Minister Raghavjibhai Patel, who was specially present at this group wedding, said that this program proves that the Patidar society is united and organized. Also, it is a very big thing that a son or daughter who has no mother or father and a person from a happy and prosperous society has joined a group marriage.
MLA Jayeshbhai Raddia also extended his greetings and said that when the Patidar community has always been a leader in every work, every program of the society should be celebrated in a jalsa style and hoped that the donors of the society would also have full support in such programs. .
