A flurry of investigation as the officer himself applied to the CP
Rajkot, Magharwada village located on the outskirts of Rajkot city has been in a frenzy after finding a conspiracy to create fake documents to grab land worth crores. It has been revealed in the preliminary investigation of the city police that all these lands are years old. In this matter, the involvement of the employees of the sub registrar office has been suspected. Police have started further process including registering a crime.
The sub registrar's office located in the old collector's office has expressed suspicion that bogus documents are being scammed by employees working on contractor bases in city zone-1 and zone-1. He suspected that around 17 documents were made bogus. Finally, on the basis of his application, the investigation was handed over to the Pradhyamannagar police.
Q. Nagar and other police staff conducted an exercise throughout the night to collect evidence of this scam. Along with this, three employees named Arjun Jhala, Jaideep Jhala and Jayesh are being interrogated by different teams of Q. Nagar police station and evidence is being collected by Q. Nagar police.
The bogus document-creating gang has tampered with documents created in an old condition of an estimated 10-year-old poultry house in which there are no heirs of the land and the land owner has passed away. Bogus documents of such lands have been created. Apart from this, there is also a suspicion of tampering with the documents of some lands in the urban area as well.
1.17 lakh in cash and half a bottle of liquor were found in the Activa after the police picked up the suspect Jaideep Shantilal Jhala.
